Hi there! My name is Ms. Dana Barkatt. I live in Clinton Township with my hyper rescue pup named Piper. I enjoy getting lost in a good book and being with friends and family. This is my fourth year teaching at the upper elementary level. I have had the opportunity to work with the greatest teachers and students throughout my career as an educator and I am beyond eager to teach 6th grade at Salk!
My Childhood I grew up in Macomb, Michigan where I attended Miami Elementary from Pre-K through 2nd grade and then Ojibwa Elementary for 3rd-5th. I then attended Wyandot Middle School before graduating from Chippewa Valley High School in 2012. My Education I attended Western Michigan University for two years before deciding to transfer to Oakland University.
